This place exceeded all my expectations. The location down the hill was perfect, as it was very close to the center of town. The service was exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff who made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities I needed for a luxurious stay. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and I especially enjoyed the hausgebackte sweet rolls. the quality of service and the enhanced comfort provided by this hotel made my stay truly enjoyable.

The hotel is conveniently located near local shops, bakeries and restaurants. the room is spacious, well, furnished and the bathroom is comfortable. the breakfast is excellent, with a great spread of food, including hausgebackte sweet rolls. the staff is friendly and helpful, and the check, in procedure is quick. Free parking and non, alcoholic drinks in the minibar are a plus.

It is disappointing that the hotel does not offer lactose, free options with special diet.

Middle of Rügen - perfect to reach other attractions on the island

The hotel is a good base for touring the Island of Rugen. Romanik Hotel Kaufmannshof has character especially in the Bar and Dining Room with doors opening to enjoy eating outside. The menu offers an excellent choice of food all day with candelit dining in the evening.

The breakfast spread was good, and the location was key for exploring the island. The room was cozy and well-furnished. Plus, the Christmas decorations throughout the hotel added to the festive atmosphere.

Our room was near a noisy street, and the soundproofing wasn't good. The lack of an elevator was an inconvenience, especially since we had to carry our luggage to the second floor.

We had a room on the second floor, at first sight very comfortable, separate sitting room and bedroom. However the pipe from the blower from the kitchen went right through our bedroom, so there was a heavy, constant noise. Upon our asking they said the problem was known on the first floor, this was the first time with a complaint on the second. They switched it off, but after half an hour it was on again. When you stay more than one night in a hotel, you'll expext a better room!, especially when the problem is known.

Stayed over xmas, very quaint location, close to the beach for walks, and spas for relaxing. The staff did their best to offer a festive atmosphere. Breakfast was hearty and a good variety.

The room was quite cramped, and the bathroom was very dated. The heating could not be controlled in the room, and it was overly hot at times. The noise outside was unbearable at times, loud music even on xmas eve. Poor sound insulation in the room. Overall not my best hotel experience.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean with great facilities. The location was convenient, close to the centre of town, and transportation was easily accessible. The breakfast was delicious and there was ample parking available.
